Congratulations and best of luck to those Wapato High School and Middle School students chosen to participate in this year’s All State Band & Choir.  As a result of their outstanding auditions two Wapato High School students and one Middle School student were chosen to participate. At the High School level Rogie-Ann Villavert was accepted into the All State Treble Choir as an Alto, and Lenny Dosono was accepted into the Wind Symphony as a Clarinet Player.  At the Middle School Jason Fate was accepted into the Junior All-State Mixed Choir as a Baritone. The Washington Music Educators Association 2020 All State event is taking place in Yakima this year.  The All-State Choir Concert is Sunday, February 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the Yakima Convention Center and the All-State Band Concert is Sunday, February 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Eisenhower High School.   On Thursday, February 13th the High School student body gathered in the school Commons to give Rogie-Ann and Lenny a rousing send off to All-State.
