A large group of students are able to get up close with Santa Claus as he reads them the classic holiday story of “Frosty the Snowman”. It was all part of the annual all grades “Dinner and a Book Reading Night” family engagement event. It is estimated that more than 400 people attended the event in mid-December. In addition to the reading from Santa it featured a variety of activities and games designed to engage families and enhance reading and writing skills. A free book was also offered to any child that attended.
